Steve Reardon joined Canterbury in 1990 as a lock forward. Steve was a regular member of the Under 21 team and played in the Preliminary Semi-Final against Parramatta.
In 1991, Steve became a regular member of the reserve grade team and received the opportunity to play first grade against Parramatta as a replacement. He finished the season in first grade when Dean Pay was injured and played in the Play-off against Western Suburbs.
In 1992, Steve was a regular member of the first grade team and in 1993, he started the season in reserve grade and received a season ending leg injury.
Steve returned in 1994 to become a regular member of the reserve grade team and played in the Semi-Final against St George.
In 1995, Steve was a regular member of the reserve grade team.
In 1996, Steve returned to first grade to be a regular member of the team and despite starting the 1997 season in first grade, he was relegated for Travis Norton and played in the Premiership winning reserve grade team against Auckland.
In 1998, Steve started the season in reserve grade but returned to first grade for Robert Relf as a interchange forward. He played in the Grand Final against Brisbane off the interchange bench.
In 1999, Steve finally secured a regular position in the team which was maintained for five seasons. He played in the Semi-Final against Melbourne as lock.
In 2000, Steve developed in a regular second row and in 2001 played in the Semi-Final against Cronulla as a lock.
After maintaining his position in 2002, Steve played his final match in 2003 in the Preliminary Final against Easts (Roosters), starting in the second-row.
In 2004, Steve returned to Temora and represented Country. He was nominated for the Berries to Bulldogs 70 Year Team of Champions and is a Life Member of the Football Club.
